Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone,

It's nearly time and I'm feeling in the Christmas mood. Would you believe it's still snowing up here in Northumberland so it looks like it will be a white Christmas. Hubby is out doing the food shopping. I don't do food shopping. Hate it with a passion. Even more so at this time of the year. I think it's because I used to work in retail bakery shops in another life and there is no such thing as the "season of goodwill " when you are on the other side of the counter.

The new CD will be released in January so I will be busy making samples over the Christmas holidays.

I've just bought a Flip camcorder to do some tutorials for you. Now all I have to master is Youtube!!

That's all my news for now. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very Prosperous New Year. Be good.

Maisie sends you a big hug for Christmas

Ever started something.......

Have you ever started something and then wished you had left it a while longer? Well I decided to give my craft room a long overdue sorting out and here I am 8 days later, still sorting. I've yet to reach the point where the mess is less and the tidy up is more. I now have 3 bedrooms in various states of disarray plus the landing and have come to the conclusion that I am one very spoilt crafter. It's a good job I have a patient husband !! I daren't post a photo it's that bad.

The plus side is I'm discovering things I forgot I'd bought such as one of those lovely kits with seals and sealing wax, a metal embossing kit which I bought on a whim 'cos it looked good and cost me a small fortune and never been used. I've enough card to keep a shop going in every colour of the rainbow.

My next door neighbour is a headmistress and is loving the boxes of unwanted goodies I keep taking her.

I'm desperate to get it done as I've not made one Christmas card yet and I also need to start making cards for the new CD ROM so I am motivated but I think I need a cup of tea and Maisie needs some attention so I'm off downstairs for a rest.

As the saying goes "I may be some time"

First live show on Create & Craft

Hi Everyone,

Great news. We have our first live show on Create & Craft at noon on Saturday 4th December so we hope you will be watching. There are 3 CD ROMs being featured with great offers to tempt you. Unfortunately it's still snowing up here in Northumberland so I'm not able to drive to Peterborough to do the show. The lovely Hayley West will be there instead with some great samples and demos to inspire you. We also have a new website for you which we are busy adding to regularly. We have lots planned including projects, an inspiration gallery and tutorials so we hope you make a point of becoming a regular visitor.

Happy crafting,

Lynda

Cupcakecrafting is back

Hi everyone,

We're pleased to announce that Cupcakecrafting CDs are back in business with a new owner and lots of big plans for the future. There's a brand new CD due for release in the not too distant future which we are very excited about. I have been asked to demonstrate the CDs which is really exciting for me. You all know how much I love CD crafting and I am looking forward to representing Cupcakecrafting. We will be updating the website on a regular basis and are hoping that you will bookmark the site and this blog in your "Favourites'. It would be lovely to hear from you if you are a fan of Cupcakecrafting CDs. I already know lots of you from my time with Chris so I'm looking forward to catching up with old acquaintances. Perhaps some of you have ideas about what you would like to see on the website.

We have a great team of card designers who are busy beavering away making fantastic samples for the new CD ROM so as soon as I am given the nod to say it's OK I'll be teasing you with some photos of the new designs.

Happy crafting,

Lynda
